The 3Com Network Jack AC Power adapter powers an individual Network Jack or IntelliJack Switch from a local wall outlet. This power adapter is required if your LAN does not have Power over Ethernet. Or you can use it to test and configure individual Network Jack or IntelliJack products during setup, prior to powering up the device. Plugs into the Network Jack or IntelliJack product at the wall; transforms standard AC power into low-voltage DC.
