The MFC-5440CN includes a super G3 33.6K bps fax modem with 8MB of memory that will store up to 200 pages.
* COLOR SCANNER Quickly scan a document or image with a scanning resolution of up to 19,200 dpi. It is quick and easy to scan images or text to E-mail, OCR, or a file. Include ScanSoft, PaperPort, and OmniPage OCR software for Windows and Presto! PageManager software for Macintosh environments. And with these MFCs connected to your network, you can scan directly to any computer on the network.
* PC FAX You can send and receive faxes right from an application on your PC. Just select the fax driver, in place of the printer driver, choose the person or group you want to send the fax to and the fax is sent automatically.
